IT’S YOUR VILLAGE….

 

Saltdean, Rottingdean and Ovingdean are peaceful, pleasant places to live but like any other corner of the country, it has its problems. There has very recently been a spate of car crimes and burglaries. This just proves we mustn't become complacent!

 

You can help us to retain its image of a safe and pleasant place to live by joining the Saltdean, Rottingdean & Ovingdean Neighbourhood Watch Association.

 

We do not ask anything more than for you to watch out for your neighbours and report to the Police ,on the non-emergency number 101 or 999 if the crime is occurring , any suspicious activities you see happening within the village and surrounding areas.

 

In return you would receive three newsletters a year keeping you in touch with what is happening in your area and giving advice on home and personal security. Members are also offered advice on home and personal security.

 

If you are on email you will automatically be registered to receive community messaging and a monthly report from the Police Community Support Officer. Two Open Meetings for members and co-ordinators are held twice a year. These meetings give members the opportunity to find out what is happening in their area and also to ask questions to the NHW committee and the police.
